Yesterday, I stood in front of a few hundred people and Steve Case, founder of AOL and Revolution Ventures, and pitched Quantifi. This morning, my team and I are still recovering from celebrating our participation in Rise of the Rest, as well as 120 Water Audit‘s win.
Our team didn’t bring home the prize, but we still won; the energy in the room and the opportunity to showcase the strength of our team is our reward.
The mission of Rise of the Rest is to work closely with entrepreneurs in emerging tech ecosystems. Having worked in Indy tech for more than a decade, it’s tough to step outside of the day-to-day work of building a company, and to take a wider view.
But this week revealed the power of the Indianapolis tech community: our people, our products, and our perseverance are what set us apart from the coasts.
As the winner of this year’s Rise of the Rest, Megan Glover and 120 Water Audit share their victory with the Indy tech community. We’re also grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the competition. Thank you to Steve Case and Revolution Ventures, to High Alpha, and to the formidable startups we competed against.
Now, it’s time for us to get back to work. Game on.
